I got a SS yesterday - been riding it almost no stop! Tempted to take it on ATB tomo but my roadie does deserve the ride, it's done all the trianing!!!

i asume it's not a roadie , but what is it????

Cycling avatar? Yep, it's the position adopted as you do an endo (over the handlebars) before hitting the ground.

Did you use your SS(Single Speed), if you did how was the Mt Eliza hill.
What is your gearing, is it fixed or does it have clutch ( Free wheel)?
I have finished my SS (Fixed) and found it another style of riding being used to 10 speed roadie.
I am using the compact chain wheel 39 with a 14 sprocket, if and when I get back on bike I'll go for
48, 16 or more likely 18.
Have lost my pictures of it so can't poat them ( if I knew how).

WOOOO HOOOO I just bought a new bike Shogun Kaze full carbon frame with full ultega everything -- its a go fast bike and my friend Lyn and l got a great price under $2K get to pick itup next Saturday bought it from Melbourne Cycles Clifton Hill heaps of people there yesterday as they have a huge sale with lots of bargains Very Happy

I'm sure it's a lovely bike too, but sure is a funny name. In Japanese a Shogun is a military commander and Kaze is wind.

So I can assume the bike is going to go the the Commander's wind. Oops! affraid Remind me to stay out front. Shocked
